In the OI platform you can export data to either PDF or CSV format.

Export data to PDF

  • From any page in the OI platform there is an ‘Export’ option in the top right corner of the page, just below the date range selector.

  • Clicking this will export the current page to a PDF document.

  • Select a printer or destination to save the PDF.

  • The PDF will show the date range and any filters applied to the data at the time of export.

Clicking on the export button opens a new window. The ‘Destination’ field gives you the option to either print the export or save it locally as a PDF document.

Note: You may need a PDF reader application such as Adobe Acrobat installed in order to open or save PDF documents.

Export to CSV

Most charts in the OI platform allow you to export the underlying data to CSV.

Note: CSV export is a custom permission for users other than those with an ‘Admin’ role.

If you don’t see the ‘Export: CSV’ option, speak to your organization’s OI lead to request the permission or to export the data for you if you will not require the permission on an ongoing basis.

To export a chart’s data to CSV:

  • Click the CSV icon in the bottom left hand corner of the chart.

  • Select a destination to save the CSV file to.

  • Open the CSV with your preferred application such as Microsoft Excel or Numbers.
